Senior Accounting Manager

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting

Manage a team of accountants responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and other accounting functions

Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other accounting standards and regulations

Lead the implementation of new accounting policies and procedures, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and others as applicable

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities

Manage the preparation and review of financial statements and other external reporting requirements

Partner with external auditors to ensure compliance with audit requirements and timely completion of the annual audit

Develop and maintain relationships with external accounting firms and vendors

Develop and maintain internal controls and policies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting

Provide accounting guidance and support to business partners and cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance

7+ years of experience in accounting

3+ years of experience managing a team of accountants

CPA Required

Exposure to SEC Reporting

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and other accounting standards and regulations

Experience with complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and business combinations

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
