IT Analyst (Labs)

Location: San Diego, CA, 3 days/week

Length: 6 months contract + Likely Extensions/Direct Hire

Job Description

System Management:

Assist with routine maintenance and updates of IT systems.

Support the implementation of new IT solutions and upgrades.

Helpdesk Support:

Provide first-level support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.

Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.

Develop and implement helpdesk policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service.

Monitor helpdesk performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.

Helpdesk Operations:

Manage helpdesk tickets using client's ticketing system.

Maintain helpdesk documentation, including FAQ and user guides.

Track and report helpdesk performance metrics.

User Training and Support:

Perform onboarding/Off-boarding training.

Conduct training sessions for end-users on new technologies and software applications.

Support the implementation of new IT solutions and upgrades.

Project Management:

Support IT projects related to infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and new technology implementations.

Collaborate with IT members and cross-functional teams to maintain service level agreement (SLA).

Security and Compliance:

Maintain IT security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data.

Enforce compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and GDPR.

The salary range provided for this contract role represents our good faith estimate for this position. Within the range, individual offers will vary based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process (W2 or C2C).
