IT Manager

The IT Manager will be responsible for drafting, implementing, and maintaining the policies and goals of the IT department to support the company’s needs. Manages all IT activities in the organization, including oversight of the internal support function. Ensures proper information system operations and plans necessary upgrades. In addition, this Manager will conduct research and draft recommendations for selecting IT equipment, applications, and supplies. This position will report to executive leadership and manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensure project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.

Responsibilities

Drafting, implementing, and maintaining the policies and goals of the IT Department to support the Company

A person who is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems

Manage all IT activities in the organization, including oversight of the internal support function

Ensure proper information system operations and plans for necessary upgrades

Conduct research and draft recommendations for selecting IT equipment, applications, and supplies.

Manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

Ensure project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.

Consider technology's positive or negative impacts on the business vision and company culture. Facilitate change management to create a positive impact on the company.

Requirements

Knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems, Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing, and Apple devices such as iPads and iPhones;

Manage multiple location sites with different business and technology needs;

Experience implementing a simple service request or service ticketing solution;

Experience with managing IT migration or IT consolidation projects.
