Position: Litigation Paralegal
Location: Seattle, WA
Pay: 85-100k
Responsibilities:
Collaborating with attorneys on high-level legal cases involving commercial and corporate litigation matters
Organizing, managing, and maintaining both digital and physical case-related materials
Preparing and reviewing legal documents and organizing them for formal submissions
Drafting court documents and discovery requests for attorney review
Handling filings with courts at both the state and federal level, including preparing all necessary documentation
Building and maintaining organized files of case evidence, including key documents and witness information
Researching case law, legal procedures, and background information on individuals or entities involved in legal matters
Compiling timelines and key event summaries for legal teams
Supporting attorneys during trial prep and court proceedings
Coordinating with clients, consultants, and other outside parties as needed
Contributing to other tasks related to legal support as required
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience providing legal support in commercial litigation or similar areas
A background in legal studies—either through a degree or a paralegal certificate—is highly valued
Prior work in either private practice or within a corporate legal team
Strong understanding of litigation workflows, court rules, and filing procedures
Excellent organizational abilities and a strong eye for detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines across multiple tasks
A proactive, dependable approach to work with strong time-management and prioritization skills
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Hands-on experience with managing digital evidence and using e-discovery platforms like Relativity, DISCO, or Everlaw
Strong written and verbal communication skills and professionalism when dealing with clients and team members at all levels
