Oxford is seeking a Leasing Manager for a multifamily community in downtown Columbus.

The Oxford Leasing Manager reports to the General Manager and will support the efforts of the Community Management team, with a strong focus on maintaining the integrity of the physical asset and maximizing returns.

Leasing and Marketing

Responsible for meeting occupancy goals through leasing and resident retention.

Handle all leasing activities, including tours and guest cards. Follow up with all leads and prospects regularly to close them.

Daily recording of all resident information in relation to phone calls, e-mail inquiries, walk in traffic, showings, move ins, move outs, apartments conditions, etc.

Ensures that all leases and addenda are completed accurately with names, rates, and signatures

Assist the General Manager to ensure lease renewals and notices are executed and updated in Yardi in a timely manner.

Complete a monthly Market Survey with updated rates, incentives, occupancy, and leasing percentages from the selected comps.

Assist the Marketing Department by monitoring social media and websites and provide content and feedback

Walk daily leasing path including models, vacant apartments, and common areas daily in preparation of daily tours.

Implement resident retention programs and regularly scheduled resident functions.

Perform regular outreach to community and surrounding businesses to drive occupancy by presenting and selling the benefits of the property. Share results of this outreach weekly in the weekly marketing update.

Analyze concerns associated with apartments that are slow to lease and offers recommendations.

Understand and comply with Fair Housing laws and standards.

Attend networking and resident events

Administrative

Assist the Property Manager with in-house lease audits to ensure compliance

Assist the Marketing Department in maintaining and updating records for online websites, which includes but not limited to apartment availability, rent prices, amenities and office hours for site.

Create, organize, and prepare all new resident files daily. Make sure all forms are complete, and documents are signed before giving them to General Manager for execution.

Assist the General Manager with maintaining records for locators and their sponsoring brokers based on rentals. This includes copies of the W-9, Managing Broker Licenses, and non-exclusive listing agreements.

Customer Service

Handle resident service requests and various concerns as required.

Conduct follow-up activity as needed with new and current residents in order to establish and maintain positive resident relations.

Assist the General Manager to ensure a superior level of customer service is consistent across all areas of the property and by all staff.

Plans and attends community sponsored resident functions and activities.

What we require:

High-school or equivalent degree required.

A minimum of 2 years of residential leasing or management experience preferred.

YARDI experience a plus

Attentive to detail

Strong communication and collaboration skills with sales ability

Ability to multi-task various projects in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
