Network Engineer II – Hybrid

We're back with an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer II to join a well-established IT team in LA. This team is prioritizing network reliability, company-wide support, and long-term flexibility for the right person.

Position Overview

Title: Network Engineer II

Location: San Fernando Valley/Calabasas (Hybrid – 2 days/week remote)

Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Maintain and support LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple locations

Troubleshoot network performance and outages

Configure and manage network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.)

Enforce network security protocols (VPNs, proxy, IDS/IPS)

Participate in upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance events

Collaborate across IT to support operations and service delivery

You’ll Excel If You Have:

3+ years of network support experience

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking

CCNA certification or equivalent experience

Hands-on expertise with firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and security tools

Solid troubleshooting skills and team-oriented mindset

Nice-to-Haves:

6+ years of networking experience

Advanced Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP)

Knowledge of protocols like EIGRP, BGP, OSPF

Experience with Cisco Call Manager, VoIP systems, and VPN tech

Familiarity with wireless technologies (802.11), F5 load balancing, and WAN troubleshooting
