Title: Full Stack Engineer - Two openings 1 Senior and 1 Mid Level

Location: 3X ONSITE in El Segundo, CA.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or another STEM field.

• 5-10+ years of proven hands-on, full-stack development expertise with both Python (front end and backend) and either Java/C++ or .Net/C#

• Proficient in Snowflake, or SQL database with a preference of Snowflake

• Data visualisation experience with PowerBI or Tableau

• 2+ years of experience with investment management platforms like Aladdin, Charles River or Allvue Everest OR specific industry experience working within Private Equity/Asset Management/Capital markets ideally in the front office arena

• Comfortable working in an agile software delivery environment, with Git

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with Streamlit

Job Description

A private equity client of ours is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team in El Segundo, CA. This is a full-time opportunity and required working onsite 3 days a week. This FSE will be joining the front office team of 10 that is responsible for risk management and portfolio management technologies. This team develops applications and tools used by the portfolio managers and risk mangers to track overall portfolio performance. These tools analyze performance, attribution and data of the client portfolios. This is a data incentive role, therefore its important this person have understanding of how this data impacts the technology but also the business. Depending on which project you are working on there could be more or less emphasis on data visualization. After development, this person will be responsible for helping to integrate these applications into the investment management platforms like Aladdin, Charles River or Allvue Everest.
