Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller to lead their accounting operations and drive financial success. Responsibilities:

Orchestrate all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.

Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements – because precision is key!

Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets – think of yourself as the financial guardian!

Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes with finesse and efficiency.

Supervise and mentor a high-performing accounting team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Manage treasury and cash flow like a pro, ensuring the company always has the funds it needs to thrive.

Implement and maintain top-notch accounting policies and procedures.

Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Contribute to the development of strategic financial plans and budgets.

Ensure seamless processing within QuickBooks Online.

Spearhead the transition to a new ERP system.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a management role.

Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online.

Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Construction industry accounting experience is preferred.

Proven experience in full-cycle accounting.

Demonstrated ability to manage and develop accounting staff.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Strong understanding of GAAP.

Experience with treasury and cash management.

Additional Requirements:

This is a full-time, on-site position.

The typical work schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility.
