Sr Oracle Database/Application Developer (SQL, PL/SQL)

Title: Sr Oracle Database Developer (SQL, PL/SQL)

Location: Parsippany New Jersey

Environment: Hybrid, 3x/week onsite

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Compensation: $60-$85

REQUIREMENTS:

7+ of experience as an Oracle Database Developer SQL and PL/SQL or related role

MINIMUM 7+ years of proven experience with SQL and PL/SQL

Oracle VPD (Virtual Private Database) or RDS or related security feature in Oracle databases

PostgreSQL

Experience with scripting (Python or Shell)

Linux OS (RedHat), Linux, or related

Experience in application deployment and automations

Experience with any DevOps tools such as Artifactory, GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins and/or Ansible

Understanding/knowledge of public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Nice to have:

Liquidbase

Oracle Certification

Java and Hibernate Development experience

Working with Oracle Cloud COntrol, Golden State, and Golden State DBA

Project: This is a hands-on position focused on high-performance database development—not infrastructure—where you’ll optimize queries, improve system performance post-stress, and solve complex business problems through efficient, scalable data solutions.
