Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a Director of End User Technology & Experience to join their team in New York, NY!
Responsibilities:
Lead a Global Team: Manage and mentor engineers and contractors across the US, UK, and India who are responsible for end user platforms and desktop tools.
Own the End User Experience: Drive the full lifecycle of user-facing technology—from strategy and implementation to performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
Enhance Digital Productivity: Partner with business leaders to understand workflow needs, gather feedback from employees, and optimize tools to support a fast-paced financial environment.
Modernize the Technology Stack: Oversee modernization efforts across Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management tools such as Intune and SCCM. Identify and integrate new solutions that elevate the digital workplace experience.
Promote a Data-Driven Culture: Define and track KPIs related to digital experience, tool adoption, and service quality. Use data to inform decisions and measure impact.
Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between technology capabilities and business strategy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required.
8+ years of experience in end user computing, IT engineering, or digital workplace solutions—preferably within financial services or similarly regulated industries.
Proven leadership experience managing platform engineering or desktop support teams in a global enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies (Windows 10/11, M365, SCCM, Intune, Active Directory) and workplace automation tools.
Experience leading user research and applying design thinking principles to improve usability and adoption.
A product mindset with the ability to define roadmaps, prioritize enhancements, and align technology with business outcomes.
Familiarity with Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platforms is a plus.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
