Sybase DBA

Responsible Managing enterprise database system: Sybase 16 and MSQL Server 2019/2022.

• Perform Database administrative tasks upgrades, patching, backup, recovery, monitoring etc for smooth database operation.

• Optimize system as well query performance through advanced tunings and implement system standardization and automation.

• Collaborate with business and application teams to develop logical and physical database models, ensuring that they meet both functional and performance requirements

• Must demonstrate strong knowledge of High Availability database system and Replication server.

• Troubleshooting and resolve complex database issues, working closely with application teams to maintain system integrity and data availability.

• Good knowledge of Phyton/Perl script is a plus.

• Preferred to have knowledge in cloud databases like RDS, Mongo Atlas and DynamoDB

• Understanding of cloud and hybrid infrastructure

• Understanding of ci/cd and data pipelines along with data lake
