Title: Palo Alto Network Engineer (Certified)

Location: McLean, VA, Richmond, VA or Plano, TX (3 days onsite)

Type: Contract to Hire (W2 Only - No C2C, Client does not sponsor visa's)

Must Haves: at least 1 Palo Alto Certification required

80% of this role is going to be focused on Palo Alto Technology. Client wants more of a Palo Alto Master than jack of all trades.

Other Network tools and tech can be varied. Main focus is on Palo Alto

Preferred Qualifications:

Network engineers updated skillset Specialized Palo Alto engineer - management, design, implementation, and deployment.

At least one Palo Alto certification.

At least 6 years' operational experience supporting proxy servers, including hardware refresh, software testing, software upgrades, policy construction, proxy automatic configuration file (proxy.pac) coding/testing/debugging, SSL interception, and complex troubleshooting techniques (e.g., debugging latency issues, authentication issues, and application functionality issues)

At least 4 years operational experience supporting Blue Coat technology (Proxy SG, Director/Management Center, Proxy AV/Content Analysis System (CAS), WebPulse, Data Leak Prevention (DLP), integrated windows authentication from another enterprise-class proxy vendor (e.g., Cisco, Forcepoint (formerly Raytheon Websense), or Intel Security (McAfee))

Blue Coat Certified Proxy SC Administrator (BCCPA) certification Blue Coat Certified Proxy SC Professional (BCCPP) certification

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Solutions Architect Associate
