About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial records for our construction business. In addition to core bookkeeping tasks, this role will provide basic administrative support to help keep the office running smoothly. It’s a hands-on, multifaceted role ideal for someone comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small business setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records for all company transactions
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and company credit cards
Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Issue and track invoices, follow up on payments
Record payroll data and coordinate with external payroll service if applicable
Organize receipts, bills, and financial documents for audits and tax filings
Liaise with external accountant for tax complianceBasic Administrative Support:
Maintain and update employee attendance records and monthly timesheets
Support communication with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
Assist with general office coordination and internal admin tasks as neededRequirements:
2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Proficiency with bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, or local alternatives)
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Detail-oriented, organized, and trustworthy
Good time management and multitasking skills
Prior experience in construction or project-based industries is a strong plus
Fluent in English
Construction field working experience is preferred
