Alliance Resource Group has partnered with a Family Office located in the San Gabriel Valley on a newly created Controller role. This individual will be instrumental in building internal processes and oversee the relationship of the external accounting firm. Properties consist of multifamily, SFH and commercial (office & retail).

Responsible for providing a variety of accounting and administrative services, including but not limited to:
Prepare month-end closing and adjusting entries in addition to consolidated financial reporting for real estate assets and investment income.
Responding to principals’ requests and inquiries for ad hoc analysis
Review
Performing monthly reconciliations of credit cards and providing reports as needed
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, financial statements, spending and cash flow reports, etc.
Monitor and track alternative investment valuation reports, K-1's, capital calls, distributions
Assist in budget and forecasting process
Assisting with year-end reporting of 1099s
Skills and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Financial services or Real Estate industry and partnership accounting experience is a plus
Recent family office, real estate, business management or investment management experience
8-10 years of accounting/audit, tax, financial reporting, and financial analysis
Solid experience in Excel and QuickBooks a plus
CPA a plus
