AWS Data Architect

Job Description:

Mandatory AWS services like S3 Athena Glue Kinesis and EMR

1 Design and implement scalable secure and highly available data architectures on AWS for AMOS applications

2 Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingesting processing and analyzing large volumes of travel bookings data from various sources

3 Implement data governance and data quality frameworks to ensure data integrity and compliance with GBT regulations

4 Optimize data storage and processing solutions using AWS services like S3 Athena Glue Kinesis and EMR

5 Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

6 Develop and maintain data models data dictionaries and data catalogs for Amos data

7 Implement data security and access control mechanisms ensuring data privacy and compliance with GBT Infosec team standards

8 Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines storage and processing solutions

9 Stay up to date with the latest AWS services and best practices for data management and analytics

10 Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the data engineering team promoting best practices and knowledge sharing
