DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud/DevOps Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure and automation team. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in cloud services, automation, and enterprise integration technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and security of cloud-based environments.

Responsibilities:

Enhance and maintain build and deployment pipelines across all product lines.

Establish and manages a robust continuous integration (CI) environment.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to products and infrastructure.

Develop configuration scripts and automates repetitive tasks using industry-standard tools.

Monitor and manage cloud-hosted applications, ensuring effective integrations.

Partner with Integration Engineers to develop and promote automation best practices.

Design and deploy new application components and supporting infrastructure.

Define, document and promote CI/CD best practices across teams.

Solve complex problems using scripting languages across diverse environments.

Implement and enforce security measures in alignment with bank security policies.

Identify and drive improvements in infrastructure, tools, and workflows through continuous feedback.

Ensure high availability and reliability of cloud infrastructure by monitoring system performance.

Respond to incidents, conducts root cause analyses, and implements long-term solutions.

Provide on-call support for production environments to ensure system stability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

At least 8+ years of relevant technical or business experience, including at least 3 years managing complex systems through software solutions.

Experience with provision secure SFTP endpoint using AWS Transfer Family with custom DNS and integrated identity providers (Service Managed, Active Directory, or Lambda-backed).

Configure SFTP user access with fine-grained permissions mapped to specific S3 prefixes to enforce tenant-level data isolation.

Automate end-to-end SFTP user provisioning using Terraform, including SSH key management and IAM role assignment.

Enable CloudWatch logging and set up alerts to monitor file upload and download activities.

Deploy SFTP within a VPC using AWS PrivateLink to ensure enhanced security and network isolation.

Proficiency in common scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Perl, and YAML.

Experience in GitLab pipeline development, with the ability to integrate Terraform, AWS CLI commands, and Bash scripting.

Experience designing and developing Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning, installation, and configuration.

Demonstrated recent use of AWS CLI across services including S3, EC2, Auto Scaling Groups, Elastic Load Balancers, SFTP, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and Lambda.

AWS certification is a plus.
