Job Title: Mainframe (z/OS platform) DBA

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 12+ Months (Possibility of extension)

Job Description:

IBM zDb2 – at least seven (7) years’ experience – the majority of the z/OS mainframe data is stored in DB2

IBM IMS/DB – the more years’ experience, the better

Software AG’s ADABAS – any experience is good

Software replication software experience – IBM’s Infosphere suite of products is a key one, Oracle’s Golden Gate (OGG), etc.

API frameworks – such as connectors for CICS, DB2, IMS, etc. from the z/Connect for Enterprise Edition (zCEE) perspective

This role is not a “hands on” implementor but a “checks and balances” role for our managed services provider to provide strategic direction, governance, facilitate communications, service delivery considerations (incident, problem, change, monitoring, reporting, capacity planning, performance, etc.)
