ABOUT YOUR ROLE

We are currently seeking an Account Executive (OR Account Associate) who has a passion for excellence in media relations and client management in our consumer lifestyle, focused on the consumer wellness and lifestyle clients. If you are energized by a diverse set of responsibilities, this position might just be your next big step.

You have 3-6 years of experience and will be heavily focused on media relations, being able to execute client projects with minimal oversight and is capable of developing client-ready materials. Success at this level requires outstanding media relations output and the ability to work autonomously.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

CLIENT SERVICE

Play a key role in handling of day-to-day assignments and work products, including content creation and oversight as well as project and account management

Enthusiastically research and mine for client, competitive and industry trends and activity to ensure Jack Taylor delivers game-changing ideas and solutions

MEDIA RELATIONS

Develop and maintain strong traditional and online media relationships, place newsworthy stories that convey core brand messages

Support the execution of high-quality earned programs from conception to placement

Bring earned media techniques and ideas to client programs to help cut through the news cycle and deliver impactful headlines that drive business performance, including understanding how search, social conversations and audience data can drive storylines and performance

Uncover trends and creative storytelling opportunities that tap into culturally-relevant moments

Maintain and update client media lists

Identify and secure podcast opportunities for clients and advisors/partners/athletes

Media Relations KPI: 2 new leads/opportunities per client per week added to our pipeline

STRATEGIC WRITING

Design PR strategies for client announcements

Strong writer who is able to develop content strategies and create a variety of high-quality written materials including but not limited to creative content, thoughtful pitch narratives and award/speaking submissions, executive bios, key messages, and press releases

ADMINISTRATIVE

Track conversations and flag to team when deadline has passed or conversation has stalled

Maintain professional communication on Jack Taylor internal and external client Slack channels; responding to client requests and asks in real time

TEAM LEADERSHIP

Responsible for overseeing work of and developing skills of Account Assistant, Account Coordinator and Account Associate
