Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Rockwall, TX (Hybrid)
Pay: $85k to $110k/year (depending on experience)
Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience. Public Accounting experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. CPA Preferred.

Greene Resources is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes including accruals.
Maintaining and compiling information for various internal and external audits.
Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Researching and resolving process issues and variance identified in reconciliations. Working with multiple departments to institute a process to avoid future issues.
Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls and improve efficiency.
Ensuring compliance with GAAP.
Special projects and Ad hoc requests as needed.
Assisting the Director of Accounting as needed.
Position Requirements:
Previous management/supervision experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Working knowledge of GAAP.
Highly motivated individual with initiative and ability to work independently.
Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
Good problem-solving and time-management skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Team player with the ability to provide direction to staff.
