Computer Aided Design Designer

The CAD Checker will work directly with the CAD Design team to ensure that layouts, models, and drawings of tactical shelters for clients such as the AF, Army, and Navy are complete and accurate. This person should have all of the skills required to do CAD Design, including an extensive knowledge of NX, Inventor, or Solidworks and a mechanical and/or electrical background. They will be tasked with reviewing customer specifications and SOWs for the program, checking individual CAD drawings for correctness, ensuring that each drawing is incorporated in to the entire deign correctly, and helping Designers understand if and why their drawings are incorrect.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4-10 years of experience in CAD design with NX or Inventor (or SolidWorks as a last resort)

• Mechanical and/or electrical background

• Strong attention to detail
