Senior Safety Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of safety programs

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies, including OSHA, USCG, EPA, DOT, and other local, state, and federal bodies.

Conduct detailed risk assessments and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)

Investigate safety incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.

Partner closely with operational teams to embed safety best practices into daily workflows.

Utilize safety technologies and data analytics tools to track performance metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline (preferred).

Minimum of 6plus years of progressive safety experience within transportation, logistics, or industrial sectors, including at least 2 years in a leadership or senior-level role.
