Our client seeks an energetic Controller who enjoys using their financial expertise to effectively oversee all aspects of their dealership's financial operations. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who is motivated, detailed and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Controller Responsibilities:

Oversee and mentor accounting team to ensure accuracy of financial data (AP, AR, payroll, etc.).

Maintain general ledger ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements.

Prepare financial reports, assist in budget forecasting, and recommend areas for cost savings.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and dealership regulations.

Controller Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.

Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Prior experience in the automotive dealership industry or similar.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting functions.

Proficiency with accounting software including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Organized and deadline-driven with attention to detail.
