As we expand our footprint, we are seeking a highly skilled individual to take on dual responsibilities as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) while also leading business development efforts as the Business Head for our CyberSandia division. This role will combine cybersecurity leadership with operational management and strategic oversight, ensuring TAC Security’s continued success across both operational and business development fronts.

Role Overview: The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) & Business Head will manage TAC Security's cybersecurity infrastructure while driving growth and operational efficiency. This role combines cybersecurity leadership with strategic business management, overseeing business operations, product development, and customer engagement efforts for the CyberSandia division. You will collaborate closely with technical teams and senior leadership to ensure business strategies align with both operational needs and market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity Leadership:

Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect TAC Security’s information assets and ensure business continuity.

Lead a high-performing cybersecurity team responsible for vulnerability management, incident response, threat intelligence, and regulatory compliance.

Oversee the integration of cybersecurity into all business operations and product offerings.

Ensure compliance with global cybersecurity standards (e.g., CREST, PCI ASV, ISO 27001) and other regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, GDPR).

Business Leadership & Strategy:

Lead and oversee business operations at TAC Security, ensuring the efficient execution of business strategies across multiple departments, including product development, sales, marketing, and customer service.

Collaborate with the CEO and executive leadership team to define, drive, and execute strategies for expansion, market penetration, and growth in both existing and new markets.

Develop business strategies and plans that foster both short-term and long-term company growth, including overseeing product launches and market expansions.

Financial Management & Operations:

Manage the financial performance of the business division, ensuring revenue growth, cost optimization, and profitability.

Oversee business processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.

Develop and manage the budget for the CyberSandia division, ensuring resources are aligned with business priorities.

Cross-functional Leadership & Execution:

Collaborate with various business units (Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance) to align cybersecurity and business strategies with company objectives.

Identify and lead initiatives that drive revenue, operational efficiency, and innovation.

Lead the execution of mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and new product development.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Represent TAC Security at industry events, conferences, and with key customers, partners, and investors.

Foster relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment between cybersecurity initiatives and business objectives.

Provide regular updates to the CEO and Board of Directors on company performance, key initiatives, and risks.

Proposal Development & Market Positioning:

Oversee proposal development for major business opportunities and government contracts, ensuring they are aligned with client needs and TAC Security’s capabilities.

Develop proposals that clearly articulate the value proposition and align with strategic objectives, ensuring they are persuasive and compliant with client specifications.

Ensure the proposal lifecycle, from drafting and submission to follow-up, aligns with business goals and timelines.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or above degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, English, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MS) are highly preferred.

10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CISO, Director of Cybersecurity, etc.).

Proven experience in business operations, strategic planning, financial management, and team leadership.

In-depth understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and solutions, with a proven track record of securing large-scale systems.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills for both business management and cybersecurity leadership.

Experience in developing business strategies, managing cross-functional teams, and executing strategic initiatives.

Knowledge of RFP processes and experience in leading the proposal lifecycle for complex business opportunities.

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills for business proposals and other strategic documents.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and business management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters in the Computer Science or Business

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.

Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and integrations.

Previous experience managing business operations in the cybersecurity, SaaS, or technology sectors.

Deep understanding of cloud security, IT infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
