The Finance & Accounting Intern is a member of the Finance & Accounting team. This position will be heavily involved with month-end reporting as well as additional routine and ad-hoc responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Coordinating completion of month-end activities

Printing and distributing Financial presentations

Assembling and reviewing monthly business review presentation

Assembling and reviewing Sales & Marketing comments for Board presentation

Reviewing Net Sales & EBITDA bridges

Printing and distributing Board books

Gathering invoices and approvals to support Corporate capitalizations

Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

Aspiring junior in an undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in the field of Accounting & Finances from an accredited college/university

Excellent written and verbal communications

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with a general understanding of data analysis techniques

Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:

20 - 29 hours per week

$18 per hour plus free parking

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:

Prepare an end of term Reflection Presentation of your work experience
