Controller

Controller – Onsite Knoxville, TN Up to $150K

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Controller to join our client's growing team in the Knoxville, TN area. This is a full-time onsite position offering a competitive salary of up to $150,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting operations including GL, AR, AP, payroll, and financial reporting

Lead month-end and year-end close processes

Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis

Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with internal controls

Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic financial planning

Implement and maintain accounting systems and procedures

Supervise and develop accounting staff

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Sage, etc.)

Manufacturing or distribution industry experience a plus

Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment
