We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Helpdesk Associate to support our IT operations. This role is responsible for imaging, tracking, deploying, and recovering end-user devices, primarily supporting the Windows 11 migration initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to communicate effectively with users and technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Unbox new devices, apply asset tags, and accurately enter data into the asset tracking system
Apply Windows 11 image to devices using standard imaging tools and procedures
Assign devices to users and configure systems with the appropriate user profiles
Coordinate and ship devices to local technicians or directly to remote users
Update device replacement and migration tickets with completed actions and next steps
Track returned devices from end users and ensure the asset tracking system is up to date
Clean and refurbish returned devices for redeployment
Communicate clearly and professionally with end users to:
Schedule Windows 11 migration/setup sessions
Coordinate the return of old devices
Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or asset management preferred
Familiarity with Windows 11 imaging and deployment processes
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Experience with asset tracking systems and ticketing tools a plus
