Serves customer base and offsite account managers by analyzing RFQ and customer specifications, preparing costing documents and technical written proposals for OEM and EMP.
Responsibilities:
Review request for quotation for clarification and definition. Contacting offsite account managers and customers for further clarification and definition.
Review “provided” customer specifications (mechanical drawings and technical write-ups) for scope of supply analysis.
Develop new technical proposals.
Design and/or draw concepts to meet customer requirements via CAD (20% of proposals prepared required).
Acquire costing data for computing margin pricing via company computer systems and programs.
Calculate selling price according to company guidelines, procedures, and processes.
Maintain organized proposal logs and files in company designated databases.
Create and maintain full costing traceability and accuracy.
Develop and implement customer specific proposals.
Qualifications
Relevant bachelor's degree in engineering or 2–5 years of relevant experience in Sales, Engineering, or Proposal Group with bachelor’s degree.
Ability to commute to LaGrange, GA office (some work from home available)
