End User Support Technician

Location: Kansas City, MO

We are looking for a skilled End User Support Technician to join our team in Kansas City, MO. This is a contract position that requires onsite presence and offers flex 9/80 scheduling, allowing you to work nine hours a day for nine days within a two-week period, with one extra day off every two weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and upgrade computer equipment for both Employee-Owners and Contingent Workers.

Provide prompt and effective troubleshooting and technical support, emphasizing customer service and teamwork.

Handle imaging, configuration, installation, repair, and routine maintenance of computer systems.

Resolve hardware and technical issues efficiently.

Manage and update tickets in ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolutions and excellent customer support.

Offer technical assistance in-person and remotely.

Maintain and track device inventory and assignments.

Assist with software installations based on licensing requirements.

Prepare workstations for new hires and support office relocations.

Collaborate with IT Service Owners to address complex issues.

Provide tier-1 AV hardware troubleshooting and support for on-site presentations.

Document solutions for recurring issues and update knowledge base articles.

Participate in Problem and Change management processes.

Adhere to all company policies and standards.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED required.

At least 3 years of relevant experience.

Strong understanding of computer hardware and operating systems.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Self-motivated and proactive.
