Job Title: Production Scheduler

Overview:
Are you a detail-oriented planner with a passion for efficiency and process improvement? We are seeking a Production Scheduler to join our manufacturing team and play a key role in optimizing production timelines, maximizing resource use, and ensuring on-time delivery. This is a hands-on, collaborative role where you'll work closely with the Planning Manager and production teams to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and Manage Production Schedules: Develop, maintain, and adjust detailed production schedules to meet delivery timelines and production goals.
Efficient Resource Allocation: Coordinate with Operations Managers to assign labor, materials, and equipment effectively, minimizing costs and downtime.
Work-in-Process (WIP) Scheduling: Optimize scheduling for WIP to reduce bottlenecks and support seamless manufacturing transitions.
Adapt to Change: Update schedules in real-time based on shifts in demand, supply chain disruptions, or customer requirement changes.
Data Analysis: Analyze production data, demand forecasts, and inventory trends to inform and improve scheduling decisions.
Monitor Capacity: Identify and address production capacity constraints to maintain optimal flow and output.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with production supervisors and other departments to ensure schedules align with overall production objectives.
Performance Tracking: Support the monitoring of KPIs related to schedule adherence and resource efficiency.
Generate Reports: Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports highlighting schedule performance and variance insights.
Maintain Accurate Documentation: Ensure all schedule changes and updates are recorded and accessible for continuous review.
Effective Communication: Keep stakeholders informed of schedule changes, project updates, and any production concerns.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling accuracy and operational efficiency. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associateâ s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in scheduling, production planning, or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, ERP/MRP systems, production planning tools).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
