We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead/Senior Network Development Engineer to support a government-focused engineering engagement in the Los Angeles, CA area. This role involves developing and validating system architecture and performance for next-generation terrestrial networking solutions with a focus on cryptographic integrity and system-level compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop system architecture, technical requirements, and interface control documentation.
Perform detailed analysis of network and cryptographic performance parameters.
Design and document system block diagrams and validate testing configurations.
Create test configurations and evaluation criteria for secure communication systems.
Construct requirements verification compliance matrices and produce verification reports.
Analyze technical issues, manage evolving requirements, and assess system-level impacts on performance and security.
Support system-level validation efforts and collaborate cross-functionally with test engineers and hardware teams.

Details:
Experience You Will Bring:
Prior experience supporting Department of Defense or commercial satellite/terrestrial telecom programs.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks and verification planning (DO-178C, ISO/IEC standards).
Experience with high-availability, fault-tolerant system architecture design.
Proven experience in system integration and testing, preferably within aerospace, defense, or telecommunications industries

Excellent documentation, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
U.S. Citizenship required; ability to work with government clients and sensitive information
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in network system architecture, engineering, or development roles.
Deep understanding of network security protocols, cryptographic systems, and system-level testing.
Proficient in tools used for network analysis, test configuration, and performance modeling.
Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
Ability to work on-site and collaborate within a multidisciplinary lab environment.
Pay rate range: $75-90/hr DOE
