3rd Shift Extrusion Operator

A manufacturer of wire and cable is actively seeking a Wire and Cable Extrusion Operator for a client in Hooksett, NH!

This is a great, long term position with a leading manufacturer of quality wire and cable. The position's primary job is running an extrusion line in a safe and efficient manner.

Extrusion Operator Responsibilities:

Set up and run extrusion line for primary extrusion and jacket extrusion.

Perform basic troubleshooting when product is out of spec to return product within acceptable limits.

Perform quality checks to ensure product meets customer and listing requirements.

Maintain clean and safe work area.

Complete paperwork and reel tags accurately.

Prepare for upcoming jobs to ensure paperwork, tooling and materials are available at completion of the current job.

Other duties as assigned.

Extrusion Operator Qualifications:

Candidates should have at least 2 years of extrusion experience in wire and cable.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Ability to read and follow work instructions.

Reliable and able to work independently.

Must be flexible with work tasks.
