The ability to program is essential for process control engineer to create outputs based on specific requirement, mechanical knowledge is also required on software programming adjustment; updates, converting to new system.
The process control engineer is responsible on resolving problems with existing hardware, programs and automation strategies; improvement of existing process control hardware & programs in line with business priorities (safety, productivity etc.); develops automation strategies (including the identifying / selecting / implementing) for new equipment, plant explanations, building of new plants or integrating newly acquired plants etc.; as part of a project team on automating hardware, develops strategies and programs for different size capital projects (from small projects to new plants)
Responsibilities
Knowledge of Process Automation (PA) technology & Design control systems for equipment and process solutions. The position is responsible for designing, programming, modeling, and testing automated apparatus or systems for precision-based tasks.
Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution and documentation, ensuring compliance with company /regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with production,engineering and quality assurance teams to develop and implement process operating procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering
Experience with process automation tools and methodologies
Understanding of process modeling, simulation, control software, and equipment sizing
3-5+ years experience as a process engineer (automation) in a manufacturing environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for English/Korean and analytical thinking
Regular Full-Time
