Process Engineer

Adler Pelzer Group - a growing global Tier One supplier of Acoustic and Soft Trim products to the automotive industry is seeking a motivated and committed Process Engineer for the manufacturing operations in Athens, TN (off of I-75 freeway between Chattanooga and Knoxville).

Duties and Requirements of the Job

Expertise in CAD software for process design or similar drawing software.

Knowledge of engineering principles, including fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and chemical processes.

Fanuc or ABB Robot programming and troubleshooting.

PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Collect and analyze process data to identify trends, generate reports, and inform decision-making.

Diagnose issues within production processes, identify root causes, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and production disruptions.

Monitor process variables to ensure product quality meets specifications and identify deviations requiring corrective action.

Design new manufacturing processes, including equipment selection, workflow layout, and operational parameters, and implement changes effectively.

Evaluate existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies to improve efficiency and productivity through data analysis and process modeling.

May work 2nd shift occasionally.

Note: This section is not inclusive. Other duties are assigned as necessary to support team goals.

Payrate is approximately $70,000-80,000/HR (Payrate may change depending on experience)
