United Wambo Joint Venture (UWJV) is an Open Cut coal mine located 16 kilometres west of Singleton in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales. UWJV 50:50 joint venture between United Collieries (Glencore and MEU) and Wambo Coal (Peabody). We commenced operation in 2020 and we are forecast to produce up to 10 million tonnes per annum of saleable thermal and semi-soft metallurgical coal until 2042.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, working a Rotating 4 Panel Day/Night roster, you will be an integral member of the Maintenance and Engineering team, safely and effectively maintaining heavy earth moving equipment to a standard and quality required to meet target outputs.

It is essential that you have an AUR31220 - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (Mobile Plant Equipment) or an equivalent qualification with previous experience working on heavy earth moving equipment.
