Qualifications
Job Summary
The QC Technician will be an integral part of the AKBM Manufacturing team and will be responsible for sample generation, preparation, and data analysis as well as for supporting production processes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversee test results for of all AKBMM finished products according to specifications and relevant procedures
Conduct test results for raw materials according to specifications and relevant procedures
Perform analyses for in-process and release samples according to specifications and relevant procedures
Manage analytical testing of third parties’ products
Investigate and interpret data to determine if the reported data meets specifications or expected outcomes
Perform investigations on out of trends and out-of-specification results
Prepare documents enabling the traceability of results obtained in laboratory experiments
Write, review and update standard operating procedures and department policies
Maintain equipment maintenance, calibration and all equipment validation activities with the QC areas.
Calibrate daily verification of instruments
Perform laboratory instrument and analytical method troubleshooting
Work closely with QC Manager, Senior QC Technician and other departments such as production, warehouse
Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations
Job requires availability to work on certain weekends and holidays
Other duties as assigned by management
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or related major
1-2 years experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 30 pounds at a time.
Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions
