HOMAGE Intern Program:

HOMAGE is looking for a highly motivated student or recent graduate to work as our summer Wholesale Intern. As a Wholesale Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in managing a customer from the sales, to the product creation all the way to the order placement, and invoicing of the finished goods. You will collaborate with key cross functional teams throughout the enterprise, developing a more comprehensive understanding of how various functions work together to drive results. This internship is a hybrid role out of our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio with the ability to work some days from home.

The internship rotation will start in Wholesale sales where you will learn about customer interactions, and product sales for existing products and new opportunities.

Next, you will learn how the products are created and how the orders are submitted.

Lastly, you will learn the purchase ordering process and work with our 3PL to execute the order and ultimately invoice the finished goods.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales:

Sit in on on sales calls with teams and retailers and take notes

Attend in person meeting with Columbus Crew retail buying team to discuss summer plans

Build pitch decks within google slides to be used to spark new ideas with teams

Identify regional “Fan Shops” that we are not currently selling into

Product development and Item Creation:

Enter project details into Asana in advance of meeting with graphics teams

Sit in on graphic review and deploy new graphics to partner

Facilitate web image needs for the retailers

Learn how to build setup sheets for retailers

Learn how to build SKU within NetSuite

Purchase Order submission and 3PL interaction:

Learn how to submit purchase orders through our ERP.

Work with our 3PL to get them the information they need to complete the order.

Understand the inventory balances needed to fulfill.

Invoicing:

Work with the 3PL to gather data on finished goods.

Learn how to invoice the order once it is ready to ship.

This job description serves as an outline of main accountabilities and responsibilities, however it is not all inclusive. The team member must be willing to perform duties outside their core responsibilities should the needs of HOMAGE require.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

General level of knowledge related to retail with desire to fully understand

Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Desire to learn new systems and processes, with a willingness to influence process improvements

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Passion for creative problem-solving and a curiosity to explore beyond surface-level data

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Microsoft Excel
