Job Title: Occupational Therapist II

Location: Newport Beach, CA 92660

Shift: Day 5x8 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct patient evaluations, including cognitive, functional, and perceptual assessments

Develop and implement individualized, occupation-based care plans

Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic activities, home exercises, and equipment use

Perform regular reassessments, update treatment plans, and document outcomes

Supervise OT Assistants and Rehab Aides as needed

Provide accurate documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards

Mentor students, interns, and assist in staff education initiatives

Participate in internal and external clinical education activities

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 18 months OT experience in an acute healthcare system

Expertise in general medicine, orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary care

Home health and geriatric care experience required

Familiarity with IRF QRP (for acute rehab settings)

Kinnser EMR experience a plus

Certifications & Licensure:

Current California Occupational Therapist License

Current BLS Certification

Completion of stroke-specific education as per certification standards

Must be local to California Must be able to travel for home visits daily Bilingual/multilingual preferred
