What you'll be doing
Ensuring IT infrastructure and systems remain operational by identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents
Leading operations engineers and managing service improvement initiatives
Administering Unix servers and third-party applications
Managing day-to-day infrastructure operations
Monitoring, testing, and reporting on infrastructure availability
Handling documentation and change management
Providing on-call support
Leading technical projects and mentoring team members
Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues
Driving service improvement initiatives and DR/BCP testing
Prioritizing, escalating, and coordinating activities within the organization
Optimizing service delivery processes and tools
What you'll bring along
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field would be nice to have
Minimum 5-10 years of Unix/Linux infrastructure experience
Strong system administration knowledge (e.g., LVM, process management, resource handling)
Automation skills (e.g., Python, Ansible, Bash, Perl)
Proficiency in protocols like HTTP, DNS, NTP, SMTP and the network OSI model
Experience with tools like GIT/GitLab, Jenkins, RedHat Satellite, Kickstart
Knowledge of monitoring tools like Nagios/Icinga2
Expertise in cluster-based setups and VMware
Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., CFEngine, Ansible)
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently
Strong communication skills, process-oriented mindset, and attention to detail
Proven leadership skills and service-oriented attitude
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a dynamic, multicultural environment
Excellent command of both spoken and written English
