Pharmacist Job Description:

The basic function of the pharmacist is to review and complete criteria-based prior authorizations according to policy and procedure. This is a call center-style position focused on providing timely and accurate responses to healthcare providers and members.

Pharmacist Schedule & Location:

• Monday â Friday, 9:30 AM â 6:00 PM (local time zone)

• Fully Remote â Direct to Work from Home

Pharmacist Salary/Wage:

• $53/hour

Pharmacist Duties:

• Review and process prior authorization requests per clinical guidelines

• Make clinical decisions based on criteria, policies, and procedures

• Communicate determinations to prescribers and/or members

• Document case notes accurately and completely

• Meet performance and quality metrics in a fast-paced virtual environment

Pharmacist Required Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in state of residence (must include expiration dates)

• Must provide an internet speed test (screenshot required)

• Minimum internet speed: 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload

• Must provide Internet provider and current speed specs

• Smartphone required for VPN setup

• Stable living accommodations and a secure/private workspace

• Must adhere to Teleworker Privacy Practices

Pharmacist Education:

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution
