Maintenance Projects Engineer (all genders)

Your position

As a Maintenance Engineer at RHI Magnesita, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, availability, and reliability of mechanical systems at our Eskisehir plant, reporting directly to the Head of Technical Maintenance. In this position, you will be responsible for managing investment and maintenance projects to enhance production capacity, machine availability, and overall plant efficiency. Your role will involve both strategic project execution and hands-on maintenance coordination, particularly focusing on mechanical systems, process improvements, and equipment performance.

You will also be responsible for developing mechanical design and solution proposals for existing performance challenges, overseeing maintenance planning and execution, and ensuring the efficiency and reliability of production lines.

Your tasks

Managing and overseeing the design, planning, engineering, implementation, and testing of site activities for multiple projects

Tracking milestones and deliverables in accordance with PMI standards, and drafting and reporting project and handover documentation

Monitoring time, cost, and quality throughout project and maintenance processes

Performing periodic maintenance and repairs to ensure the efficient operation of production lines and machines

Collaborating with teams for fault detection and resolution, and providing technical support when necessary

Preparing maintenance- and project-related reports and presenting them to management

Your profile

A technical university degree - preferably in the fields mechanical engineering

Several years of relevant working experience - preferably within the steel, cement, refractory or comparable manufacturing industry

Demonstrating strong knowledge of mechanical systems, along with solid problem-solving and equipment design skills

Bringing experience in contractor management

Possessing advanced skills in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Office, and MS Project

Languages: Turkish – fluent, English – advanced

Required certifications: PMP/PMI certificate is a plus
