Supports and assists in the development of math throughout the building
Assists teachers to identify students who are not meeting grade level standards
Conducts assessments to identify students.
Conducts regular progress monitoring
Able to use data from instruction to plan engaging lessons for students
Designs and implements activities using manipulatives or concrete models for abstract concepts
Provides small group intervention instruction to identified students
Completes progress reports
Writes and implements individualized math plans for targeted students
Participates in professional development activities
Plans and conducts parent events to promote math
Understands and utilizes data analysis to evaluate program effectiveness
Collaborates with classroom teachers and other specialists to meet the needs of indentified students
Plays a critical role on the MTSS team
Communicates with other interventionist in the district to promote an aligned program
Understands how to build a schedule for intervention purposes
Uses Otus, our student management system, to gather and analyze data
Licensure
Ilinois Professional Educators License (valid for grade levels served)
Math Endorsement Preferred
Bilingual Endorsement Preferred
Fluent in oral and written Spanish Preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $50,300.00 per year or depending on experience
