iOS Engineer

Description

Dmitry Almelchenko, Manager Engineering in USRM ServTech is seeking a skilled iOS Engineer to join our development team. As an iOS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of our iOS applications.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our users' needs.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop advanced iOS applications, ensuring their functionality, performance, and usability.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Understand the technical design and architecture of iOS applications, ensuring they follow best practices and industry standards.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards.

Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.

Continuously optimize and improve existing iOS applications for enhanced user experience and performance.

Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively share knowledge with the team.

Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure proper testing and quality assurance of iOS applications.

Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Requirements:

Professional iOS development experience, including experience with Swift.

Strong knowledge of iOS SDK, XCode, and related tools.

Proven track record of developing and shipping high-quality, performance-driven iOS applications.

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software development best practices.

Experience with GraphQl APIs, JSON, and XML.

Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks, continuous integration, and version control systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve technical issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Proactive mindset, with a desire to learn and stay updated on the latest iOS development trends and technologies.

Qualifications

Three years of software engineering experience.

Experience working in an agile environment utilizing Scrum, Kanban or XP.

Demonstrated success in platform modernization initiatives, utilizing technologies such as REST; micro services; cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud; and Java, NodeJS and Spring Boot.

An ability to code in multiple languages, including an object-oriented language, preferably Java/J2EE.

Strong oral and written communication skills—and a knack for explaining your decision-making process to non-engineers.

A collaborative, adaptable working style, demonstrated initiative and the ability to prioritize your time and efforts.

A thorough grasp of technology concepts, business operations, design and development tools, system architecture and technical standards.

Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools.

A Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
