Detailed Description:
At this working level position, employees are fully qualified to execute job and role accountabilities, working independently on most aspects of the job. Work is performed within established professional standards and practices. Tasks are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required to complete assignment. Employees in this position could provide guidance and demonstrate work methods to new employees. Situations not covered by standard processes, procedures and methods are referred to manager or expert resource. Builds internal and external relationships, with emphasis on those that facilitate the achievement of job/role accountabilities, such as relationships with internal and external customers.
Develops design specifications based on user requirements. Liases with business community to understand business process and defines how software tools can be leveraged to optimize the business process. Develops prototypes; codes, tests, debugs and documents programs. Defines and develops systems plans, models and solutions. Prepares test data and test methodologies. Provides 3rd level application support. Liases with end users and other I.T departments. Trains end user trainers, support and maintenance personnel.
