The Programmer III will design and verify needed tooling and processes to build aerospace structures and parts using Siemens NX CAM Software.
Orizon Aerostructures, LLC: $250 million+ in the latest technology including: high speed CNC machines, Augmented Reality (AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI) for NC Program, high speed laser projection, CNC integrated work holding and automation, Machine tool monitoring, Countdown clocks to measure CNC OEE and labor touch time versus budget, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) integrated tooling with robotics to manufacture the most complex monolithic components and sophisticated aerospace assemblies.
Responsibilities: Level 1 • Review, interpret, and program parts in accordance with customer GD&T and purchase order requirements • Design tooling and processes per the established programming plan for basic 3 axis part complexities • Work with Manufacturing/Application Engineers and provide feedback to Planning, and Quality to improve and optimize production processes • Utilize Vericut verification software to ensure program integrity and first piece acceptance • Archive proven programs for use by the production team • Review PCDs and work with Quality to establish correct in-process verification guidelines • Participate in RCCA (Root Cause & Corrective Action) process • Manage time appropriately and respond quickly to all inquiries so that production, quality, and delivery schedules are met Level 2 Perform responsibilities associated with a Level 1 Programmer as well as the following: • Design tooling and processes per the established programming plan for mid-level 3 and 4 axis part complexities • Design tooling and processes per the established programming plan for basic 5 axis part complexities • Achieve “First Pass Yield”, programming hours, and cycle time within budget • Provide support to Level 1 Programmers as needed Level 3 Perform the responsibilities associated with a Level 1 and Level 2 Programmer as well as the following: • Provide support, mentoring, and training to Level 1 and Level 2 Programmers • Design tooling and processes per the established programming plan for advanced 3, 4, & 5 axis part complexities • Lead RCCA (Root Cause & Corrective Action) investigation and analysis Qualifications: Advanced Ability to provide written instructions Advanced Ability to use Microsoft Office Intermediate Titanium Material Advanced Aluminum Material Advanced Computer Aided Manufacturing Advanced Siemens NX Programming Advanced Vericut Software
