Perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance. Train for future Electrician positions.

Responsibilities

Assist with downday and project work for electrical team

Train with shift personnel

Assist millwrights and electricians with daily maintenance

Perform electrical tasks under direct supervision of an Electrician

Qualifications

Required

Previous electrical installation or mainteanance experience

An excellent safety and attendance record

Ability to work a 4 on/4 off swing shift

Preferred

Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC's, Rockwell Software and Siemens PLC's

Experience with Low, medium and high voltage equipment

Experience with transformers, AC motors and AC drives

Basic understanding of electro-hydraulic systems
