Unit Overview

Beds: 158 beds

Units: 6 total - Spinal Cord, Brain injury, 2 stroke units, general rehab, and a med unit

Nurse:Patient: 1:7-8 typically

Reports to: Theresa Crossley, CNO

Personality: Family Oriented, Outgoing, Motivated, Quick Learner

Dress Code: Navy Scrubs

Float: May be floated to another healthcare facility affiliated with the facility (e.g. outpatient clinic) or another department/unit within the facility.

On Call: N/A

EMR: Cerner

Job Description: leading provider of inpatient rehabilitation for stroke, brain injury, hip fracture and other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions in Lexington. No high acuity patients. No vents or trachs. Patients stay for up to two weeks at a time. Qualifications

At least 1.5 years of experience

Med Surg or Acute Inpatient Rehab background

BLS through AHA

KY RN or Compact Licensure
