Position Summary: This position is responsible for operating machines in a high-volume production area in the automotive manufacturing department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.

* Operates machinery in a high-volume production area.

* Loads/unloads small parts to and from machines.

* Inspects parts to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

* Performs preventative equipment maintenance as required.

* Abides by TS16949 processes and procedures as dictated by the Quality Procedures Manual.

* Recommends ideas to assist in the implementation of quality and improvement.

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday.

In order to meet our customer's demands this role may be required to perform work outside of business hours including weekends.

Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
