About the Role
Are you organized, customer-focused, and ready to be the heartbeat of a fast-paced office? As our Office Assistant – Feed & Grain, you’ll be the go-to person who ensures our day-to-day operations run smoothly. From supporting customers and managing billing to maintaining inventory records and assisting with office technology, your work will play a vital role in keeping our business—and our customers—moving forward.
A basic understanding of the feed and grain industry is helpful to succeed in this role, but most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.
What You’ll Do
Provide professional front-line support by answering and routing phone calls and greeting customers, guests, and vendors.
Perform general office tasks including sorting files, distributing mail, and maintaining clean, organized workspaces.
Maintain up-to-date pricing and quantity records in our system for ingredients and products.
Input and manage all customer billing and order information accurately.
Monitor mill supply inventory and help anticipate seasonal needs.
Draft, proofread, and format business correspondence and assist with special projects.
Ensure office equipment is working properly and coordinate maintenance with IT as needed.
Help implement and maintain effective office policies and procedures.
Support a safe, organized, and efficient workplace.
Jump in and assist with other administrative tasks and projects as needed.Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or office setting.
Basic knowledge of the feed and grain industry is preferred.
Comfortable using computers and office equipment.
Able to work independently in a professional, customer-facing role.Work Environment
Schedule: Full-time, regular business hours with occasional overtime as needed.
Setting: Primarily in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to outdoor conditions.
Physical Demands: Light lifting (up to 20 lbs), frequent sitting, and regular use of office equipment.
