Are you looking for an amazingly fun summer job? Hattie Larlham has three opportunities for you to support students with disabilities as they complete a summer job exploration program at local businesses to identify future employment goals and increase job readiness.

Summer Youth Employment Specialist: Supports up to four high school students (ages 15 to 21) with disabilities as they complete a summer youth work experience at a local business. The goal of the program is to increase job-readiness through on-the-job training.

Schedule: June 2 - July 3, 2025, Part-Time, Monday to Thursday, 1st Shift

Location: Local businesses

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 / hour

Discovery Assistant: Responsible for providing support to high school students (ages 15-21) enrolled in the Transition to Work Summer Program. During the four-week summer program, students will complete job exploration sessions at local businesses in order to identify future employment goals.

Schedule: July 7 - July 30, 2025, Part-Time, Monday to Friday, 1st Shift

Location: West Central School, Columbus

Pay: $16.00 / hour

Discovery Specialist: Responsible for providing the Career Discovery Waiver Service to three high school students (ages 15-21), between May and September 2025. The Discovery Specialist will work closely with each student to identify specific employment related preferences, interests, needs, and strengths.

Schedule: Set Monday to Friday schedule during July; flexible schedules for May, June, August, and September

Location: West Central School, Columbus

Pay: $18.00 / hour

Qualifications (for all opportunities):

High School Diploma

Driver's License and reliable transportation

Pass criminal background check and drug screen

Attend mandatory orientation and training

First Aid/CPR certification is preferred; training is provided
