Position: Banquet Server- Part Time
Reports To: Manager of Banquet Operations
Job Summary: Responsible for serving food & beverages in a professional manner at assigned banquet functions.
Salary: $12 an hour + tips
Duties
Willingness to accept the most effective role.
Review the Banquet Event Order’s for menu details, special instructions, floor plan etc.
Prepare for the function(s): plate setting, condiments, beverages, etc.
Assist the set-up staff in table set-up, buffet set-up, bar set-up, etc.
Prepare and serve beverages for the function.
Check the quality of food before serving.
Maintain an open communication with the kitchen staff, letting them know immediately of any changes or needs.
Serve the guests in a professional and efficient manner. Follow-up on any reasonable requests.
Remove dirty dishes from the tables as guests finish their meal or course.
Load all dirty dishes from the banquet function on a cart and breakdown the dish line.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness.
Clean up after the function; sweep, mop, clear dishes from table, put everything away.
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

Weekend and morning availability.
Ability to work on a team.
Projects a professional and polished image that inspires confidence and trust.
Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 15 lbs., sit and/or stand for long periods
Part-time
